From one street corner
Love on The World began in 2014 as Love on Hamilton (LoveonHamilton.com), when Daniel and Katie Ziedins stepped onto the streets of Hamilton, Ontario with food, prayer, and the Gospel. Week after week — rain, snow, or heat — the team showed up: feeding the hungry, clothing the poor, praying for the sick, and sharing Jesus with anyone who would listen.
The Lord expanded the vision
As word spread, believers in other cities asked how to start the same thing where they live. Between 2020 and 2022 Love on The World was established to help start and grow outreach groups everywhere. Today there are active groups across 12 cities, prayer going up for 36 nations, evangelism training equipping everyday believers, and city-wide celebrations like Jesus Festival (JesusFestival.ca) lifting up the name of Jesus in public. The Jesus Festival Movement (JesusFestivalMovement.com) helps other cities host their own celebration.
We are in this together
None of this happened because of one gifted person. It happened because ordinary believers kept showing up — praying, giving, inviting, serving. The body of Christ has many parts and every part matters (1 Corinthians 12:27). Whether you pray for a nation, join an outreach group, start a Love on [City] group, or love the people God has already placed in front of you, you play a real part in what the Lord is doing.
