Where It Began

Love on Hamilton

It started in 2014 with Daniel and Katie Ziedins and a simple but burning conviction: every person matters to God, and the love of Jesus belongs in the streets.

What began as a heart to serve the lost and broken in Hamilton, Ontario has grown into a broader multiplying vision. The mission was never just street outreach — it was discipleship, training, multiplication, and city transformation.

For over a decade, the team has been on the streets — in the cold, in the rain — showing up for people the world has forgotten. Feeding hundreds weekly, praying for the sick, sharing the Gospel boldly, and watching God transform lives.

And because faith is contagious, what started on the streets of Hamilton has grown into a global movement.

2014

It All Began

Daniel and Katie Ziedins stepped out in faith with a simple but burning conviction: every person matters to God, and the love of Jesus belongs in the streets. Love on Hamilton was born — not from a plan, but from a heart on fire.

2015-2018

Faithfulness in the Streets

Week after week, rain or shine, summer or winter — the team showed up. Feeding the hungry, clothing the poor, praying for the sick, and sharing the Gospel with anyone who would listen. Consistency became the foundation.

2019

Faith is Contagious

As word spread, people from other cities began reaching out. 'How do we start something like this in our city?' The vision began to multiply. What started in Hamilton was becoming something bigger.

2020-2022

Love on The World is Born

The vision expanded beyond Hamilton. Love on The World was established to help start and grow outreach groups in cities around the globe. The mission: fulfill the Great Commission by making disciples who make disciples.

2023-Present

A Global Movement

Today, outreach groups are active in cities across Canada and beyond. The movement continues to grow — connecting evangelists, equipping believers, and spreading the Gospel to the nations. And it's only the beginning.
